Purchase Loan Process


Once you have an accepted sales contract on the house you are buying, call 502-896-2616 and tell us the sale price and loan amount. We then perform the following steps:

  • * Verify the length of lock required based on your sales contract
  • * Quote several rate and closing-cost options
  • * Advise the best option for you

After you choose an option, we lock in your rate. You then sign the application and provide the required documentation. Borrowers Choice will send the application to underwriting for approval, order a title exam and appraisal. Once the loan is approved, we arrange a closing date with an attorney.

Refinance Loan Process


Call Borrowers Choice Mortgage at 502-896-2616 and tell us your current value, loan amount, and rate. We then take the following steps:

  • * Discuss your goals (such as having a lower payment or fast payoff)
  • * Quote several rate and closing-cost options
  • * Advise you on your best option
